"Animal Farm" is a novella by George Orwell. It tells the story of a group of farm animals who overthrow their human owner, Mr. Jones, in hopes of creating a society where all animals are equal. However, as the story progresses, the pigs, who take charge, become increasingly corrupt and oppressive, mirroring the tyranny they initially sought to escape. The novella is an allegory for the Russian Revolution and the rise of totalitarianism.
